I'm running Linux Mint 19.3 Mate. I'm willing to put up a VirtualBox VM in 20.04, but really can't do a reinstall right now, as there's about a weeks' worth of custom updates. (I write application software for numerical stuff, but can't pretend knowledge of kernel / module level stuff.)
