I installed linux-modules-5.7.0-994-generic_5.7.0-994.202005192206_amd64.deb then linux-image-unsigned-5.7.0-994-generic_5.7.0-994.202005192206_amd64.deb (because of dependency, has to be that order), and then rebooted and selected the 994 version (I have vmlinuz-5.3.0-51-generic as default, and can also choose -53- if desired).
It booted fine, and shut down seemingly correctly. Do you want me to run any diagnostics or logs? It happened from the last update to kernel 5.3, I suppose that it is the very new laptop since in another partition I have Kali and it happens the same.
