In various postings to this news group, I've heard about booting JOS from
floppy. I would be very interrested in finding out more about this.
Personally, I do not have the epertise with GRUB or BOOTP or even LILO where
I would feel comfortable getting things going. Also, I do not have a spare
machine with a HD that I can use as a JOS machine. If possible to boot JOS
from floppy, that would allow me to share my machine between JOS and my
normal OS with minimum effects and possibilities of corruption of existing
OS and data.
If there is a way to boot JOS from floppy, I'd like to suggest that we put
together a disk image with JOS that can be downloaded and trasferred onto a
floppy.
