I found this type of implementation for settings in multiple parts in KiCad
project.
Would some one like to explain this mechanism?
void EDA_3D_FRAME::LoadSettings( wxConfigBase* aCfg )
{
EDA_BASE_FRAME::LoadSettings( aCfg );
...
