Hi Jon, It seems there is no patch attached to this message. I realize it is better to hide invisible pins when they obscure the view, but I wonder whether the user should be at least aware of their presence.
In case a symbol does not follow the KLC and has invisible pins exposed, then it can easily create an unwanted connection. In my opinion such symbol is badly designed and should not really occur, but I am just giving an idea of what may go wrong. Perhaps we should have an ERC rule that warns about invisible pins being connected to a wire, any thoughts?
