I thought your advice was very good (though I don't pretend to be an 
expert either), but I've just realised we are probably thinking about 
the problem from two completely different viewpoints, as from memory 
your boards are multilayer whereas I have to use double layer.   It's 
worth saying that if one has a problem as described in the OP, a four 
layer board would be highly preferable.   Are you already using 
multi-layer, Anders?   With such a board having multiple ground planes 
is probably pointless and may even make the problem worse.   With a 
dual-layer board the power planes are likely to be very compromised and 
it then becomes necessary to design such that a noisy current doesn't 
end up funnelled past something sensitive.   If you split the ground 
plane up with a view to helping you achieve this, then you should 
benefit, but if you just do it blindly thinking the mere act of doing so 
will solve the problem, expect trouble.
