In PCBnew, under design rules/layer setup, there is a layer type called "jumper." I have a few questions on this type.
1. How is a jumper layer defined? 2. When do I use the jumper layer? 3. What does the autorouter do with the jumper layer? My guess is that the jumper layer is used to for jumpers when the number of signal layers is limited. I want to confirm this usage and determine how best to use the jumper layer. While I am on the subject, what does PCBnew do differently for each of the layer types (signal, power, mixed, jumper)? Mark
