Hi Frederik,

When GATE starts for the first time it places a file 'gate.xml' in your user 
folder (/home/username - for Linux; <system drive>:\Documents and 
Settings\username - for Windows). And in this file all the configuration 
(incl. paths) information is placed. Just go there and delete the whole 
file. Then start the KIM GATE GUI or your new instance of GATE and it will 
recreate it. But bear in mind that their configurations are probably 
different, so starting one of the tools will lead to a similar problem when 
trying to start the other afterwards. And it is not very convinient to 
delete the file each time you start a tool. I would recommend that you 
decide which specific tool you'll be using and stick to it once you've made 
it running right.
