Hi everyone,
I want to start a new feature request, but before I officially open
an entry on our beloved bug-tracker / wish-list collector 'b.k.o' I
want to get some initial feedback, since it is a new quality of
feature request:
I want to take something out of KMyMoney!
Driven by https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=291850 and the fact
that I never used this feature should we still provide a backup
capability inside the application? I can imagine that we have users
that use and like the current feature, but ...
Comments and thoughts are very welcome.
I don't use the backup regularly, but I do use it (and should probably
do so more frequently) although doing it manually before or after
running KMM wouldn't be hard.
However, given the bug is in the Windows version, I suspect removing
backup from KMM would just be a workaround to hide a problem in KDE
Windows. I suppose I'll finally have to get KDE Windows installed and
try it. (I once tried to compile it all from scratch, but never got
past kdelibs.)
