*Java Developer* *Location: Washington DC* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Interview: F2F* *I need locals or nearby who can go for F2F with good communication skills.* *Job Description:* Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications using Java-based technologies, including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets. Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming. Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners. 6+ years of prior Java development experience required. Must be able to work independently, since they will be the only developer on the project team. Will be responsible for design and development of the application - the web based front end and the back end database. Must also have experience setting up, configuring and administering the development environment.
