Germany, which condemned the arrests of HADEP supporters,
should stop acting hypocritically!
THOSE WHO SUPPORT FASCISM IN TURKEY
ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ARRESTS

HADEP's elected mayors have been arrested by fascism in Turkey. Most West
European countries such as Germany have condemned the arrests. They have
said that the arrests are contrary to "democracy"
Germany is behaving hypocritically!
Those who support fascism in Turkey in every way cannot condemn the acts of
the fascist authorities in Turkey and cannot up their own responsibility
for them. Whatever the fascist authorities in Turkey have done so far has
been done with the support and authorisation of Germany and the USA. The
savagery of fascism has been underwritten and supported by them.
Germany is supporting fascism in Turkey as well as those forces who carry
out disappearances, massacres, torture and extra-judicial executions.
- IT SUPPORTS THEM WITH TRAINING,
- IT SUPPORTS THEM WITH THEIR TECHNOLOGY,
- IT SUPPORTS THEM WITH THEIR TANKS, WHICH ARE USED TO DRAG THE CORPSES OF
OUR YOUNG PEOPLE AND WITH WEAPONRY WHICH IS USED TO SPILL THE BLOOD OF OUR
PEOPLE,
- IT SUPPORTS THEM WITH THE CREDITS THEY NEED TO CONTINUE THE WAR AGAINST
OUR PEOPLES.
When Germany's interests are at stake, it never says anything about the
torture and human rights violations committed by fascism in Turkey.
Yesterday they said Turkey could not join the European Union because "you
violate human rights", but because Turkey serves the interests of Germany
in the Balkans, the Middle East and the Caucasus, it has been accepted as a
candidate for membership. Has anything changed? Has democracy come? No,
there has never been democracy in Turkey. Germany, the USA and Turkey have
reached an agreement. They have written a blank cheque. "Protect our
interests, do what you want, but use a democratic facade," they said. And
Turkey has continued to do this. It has stuck to the agreement. The
condemnation of Turkey is only a pretence.
Germany, which is responsible for the death of fifty million people, is the
fatherland of the repressive laws in Turkey. Germany made the repressive
laws and Turkey imported them. Fascism in Turkey puts into practice the
lessons it has learned from Germany.
Germany never uses the anti-terror law 129a against neo-Nazi organisations.
The Nazis are free to commit arson, murder and every kind of assault
against non-German immigrants. No German law stops them. But every kind is
placed on revolutionaries' thoughts and they are declared to be
"terrorist". In Turkey there are also the anti-terror laws in force.
While the German judges condemn revolutionaries to decades in prison in the
interests of the monopolies, the judges of the State Security Court in
Turkey sentence them to life imprisonment in the interest of fascism. There
is no law, no rules, no legislation, no justice. Everything is determined
by the interests of the ruling class. The German judges talk exactly like
the State Security Court judges in Turkey do. They call democratic
activities and beliefs "terror", in the name of "state security" they ban
all kinds of organisations, and if you say you defend freedom, justice and
equality, they put you in isolation in prison to make you give up your
beliefs. The German authorities punish revolutionaries in the name of the
authorities in Turkey. They talk the same language and have the same aims.
In the language of Germany, too, the struggle for freedom and the desire
for justice is called "terror".
Turkey is imposing bans the same as Germany by saying that we do not
recognise "legal and democratic things", and, just like Germany which tries
to turn people into informers by saying "Abandon your beliefs or we will
deport you," it sentences people to decades in prison. Turkey also punishes
people for their beliefs and uses a law to encourage defections. "The
turncoat said so and so," and with decisions based on that, others are
given prison sentences.
Turkey, for the sake of its fascist system, has declared war on those who
struggle against fascism and want justice, equality and freedom and has
massacred, made disappear or tortured tens of thousands of our people.
Germany and the USA also declared them to be "terrorists" and thus acted in
support of Turkey. Germany has banned the democratic and legal activities
of revolutionaries and their organisations, and done so contrary even to
its own laws.
Its aim was to strengthen fascism in Turkey.
It wants the fascist authorities in Turkey to remain in power. Everything
is done in the interests of the German authorities and the monopolies.
Therefore it is capable of supporting the most hideous massacres, torture
and oppression. Arrests, disappearances, the Ulucanlar massacre, the
atrocities of Hizbullah… all these things are done in our country with the
support of Germany and the USA.
Germany has also called revolutionaries "terrorists", and banned them in
support of the interests of fascism in Turkey. This was not enough. Just
like fascism in Turkey, it arrested people, behaved in a tyrannical
fashion, began to carry out constant raids, and when that was not enough it
used solitary confinement.
They are unanimous in calling freedom fighters "terrorists". They hunt down
revolutionaries. Everything was permissible against "terrorists". No laws
or rules were felt to be necessary.
Who are the terrorists?
Is it those who support every kind of horror, use every kind of massacre in
the interests of the fascist authorities, those who recognise no rules or
laws, is it those who ban beliefs and people in organisations? Or those who
struggle for freedom, justice and democracy?
What are you condemning now?
Isn't it Germany which bans freedom of thought by using solitary
confinement, engages in racism and uses Nazi methods? In order to ban the
thoughts and organisations which do not hold the same beliefs as them or
serve their interests, isn't it Germany which doesn't recognise justice,
rights and law for such organisations and thoughts?
Turkey also does the same. It bans all kinds of thoughts which are opposed
to the official line. It attacks the legal and democratic institutions and
organisations. In order to copy Germany's practices of applying solitary
confinement, it spends trillions of Turkish lira to build cell-type
prisons.
The laws under which HADEP supporters were arrested are copies of German
laws.
It is Germany which supports the fascist regime which arrested HADEP
supporters. Therefore their condemnation is false and they too bear
responsibility.
Those who declare that human rights should be exercised, the Ulucanlar
massacre should not be repeated and freedom should be given to HADEP
supporters must first abolish their own racist laws and the bans placed on
those called "terrorist". Not doing that means to support the fascist
authorities in Turkey.
Germany and the USA bear responsibility for the arrests of HADEP
supporters. All their condemnations are a pretence and a lie.
No terror laws will prevent freedom of thought,
Freedom to HADEP supporters,
Germany must end its bans on freedom of thought and on organisations,
Germany must stop supporting the authorities of fascist Turkey.
