THE HET NIEUWSBLAD NEWSPAPER IN BELGIUM AND THE PLOT OF THE GENDARMES
THOSE WHO BELIEVE THAT THERE IS DEMOCRACY, A STATE OF LAW AND JUSTICE IN
BELGIUM,
DO NOT LET THEM INTERVENE IN THIS TRIAL BY DECEIVING PEOPLE WITH THEIR NEWS
AND PLOTS.
THE HET NIEUWSBLAD NEWSPAPER IS LYING IN THE ARTICLE TITLED "TURKISH
TERRORIST AWAKENED BELGIUM"
1- It claims that we have started preparations for actions targeting "The
Turkish national football team during the European cup championship"
These claims are absolute lies.
There is not a single document or evidence to prove these claims. Those who
think otherwise should expose them to the rest of the world.
The Devrimci Halk Kurtulus Partisi - Cephesi (Revolutionary People's
Liberation Party-Front) never targeted anyone except those fascist forces
and their servants, torturers and murderers, during its 30 odd years of
history.
Devrimci Halk Kurtulus Cephesi considers targeting the innocent as
banditry.
The HET NIEUWSBLAD newspaper is trying willingly and deliberately to create
terorists. We are not terrorists. We are fighters for democracy, justice
and freedom.
In fact, it is the mind which publishes these lies which is terrorist.
2- It states that pure uranium was found in the house in Knokke. The author
of these words is committing a crime by lying and trying to influence the
court.
It has been documented that the DHKP-C are not involved in such dirty
deals. The journalist trampled on his/her professional dignity by such
deceits in order to show the DHKP-C as guilty and as terrorist.
The gendarme of Belgium is serving fascism in Turkey by co-operating with
the death squads and the fascist authorities in Turkey and criminalising
the DHKC.
The journalists maintaining their professional morality should not get
involved in this plot. If you do not respect other beliefs, at least you
should respect your own profession.
3- The gendarmes blindfolded Fehriye Erdal. Why? Their aim is parallel to
the lies in the newspaper. They aim to pressure the court by creating the
image of "a dangerous organisation", "they are threatening the security of
Belgium"
The dozens of armed gendarme, sirens, convoys were not enough for a young
handcuffed woman, Fehriye Erdal, she was blindfolded too.
The gendarmes are easily able to transfer a defenceless woman to and from
the court hall. this atmosphere of terrorism is artificially created by the
gendarmes. Sometimes they put our friends in isolation, sometimes they
blindfold them and almost completely take over the court hall.
All of this is simply a provocation. They mean to trample on the law,
justice and human rights.
Who is the terrorist?
Do you want to see terrorists? Do you want to know who they are? They are
THE OLIGARCHY OF TURKEY.
Millions of our people are tortured.
Thousands of our people were massacred.
Hundreds of our people were made to disappeared.
Look at the killing fields. Hundreds of our people are still under the
soil.
Look at Susurluk. Homicide, heroin... all kinds of dirty business is there.
Listen to what the oligarchy in Turkey says. Nothing is secret in Turkey
anymore. The [former] minister of internal affairs, Mehmet Agar and the
chiefs of the death squads are revealing how they massacred the people and
used everyone for this purpose.
All of this was done by the oligarchy of Turkey. And they are continuing to
do so.
If you do not want to expose fascism and declare that fascism serves for
your interests; then you are in co-operation with fascism and proud of it.
Those who are for democracy, law and freedom of thought cannot co-operate
with fascism. To do this is to betray yourself and refuse your own laws.
Stop the provocation.
The Devrimci Halk Kurtulus Cephesi has never been a terrorist organisation.
It never targeted the innocent.
The Devrimci Halk Kurtulus Partisi never violated the laws of Belgium. It
never used violence or threatened anyone.
The Devrimci Halk Kurtulus Partisi – Cephesi carried out its activities
openly and legally and continues to do so.
The legitimacy of the DHKP-C has been proven and well-documented.
The accusation of terrorism belongs to fascism in Turkey. Because they are
desperate to hide their terrorist face and therefore declare those who
struggle against them to be terrorists.
The HET NIEUWSBLAD newspaper and the gendarme of Belgium should stop acting
like the consulate of Turkey.
Fehriye Erdal, Musa Asoglu and Kaya Saz are innocent. They are the fighters
for democracy and justice. They never threatened the security of Belgium or
Belgians.
WE CALL UPON THOSE WHO, BELIEVE THAT THERE IS DEMOCRACY AND LAW IN BELGIUM,
TO OPPOSE THIS PROVOCATION. WE CALL UPON THEM TO TREAT THIS MATTER LIKE
THEIR OWN.

THE BLINDFOLD OF FEHRIYE ERDAL DOCUMENTS THE CO-OPERATION OF THE
GENDARMERIE WITH FASCISM IN TURKEY
Fehriye Erdal has been in custody since September 25, 1999 and she was
blindfolded on the way to court.
We have become accustomed to being blindfolded. We believe that Fehriye
Erdal had also become familiar with this practice. The torturers in Turkey
always blindfold the accused during interrogation. The aim is to pressurise
the victim psychologically and to prevent the torturer's identity being
revealed. The torturers are cowards. They know the depths of the people's
hatred of them and are afraid of it. Torturers and the other mechanisms
which support the fascist state complement each other. The murderer
blindfolds the victim… The journalist conceals the face of the murderer.
The cycle of torture, interrogation and exposure works like this in Turkey.
How about in Belgium? What is the difference? Despite the fact that Fehriye
Erdal is in custody, as if this were not enough, she was blindfolded on the
way to court.
Look at the March 1, 2000 issue of Hurriyet (the mouthpiece of the
contra-guerrilla regime). You will notice that the photograph in Hurriyet
is no different from those photographs that were published previously. The
only difference is the Flemish inscriptions on the uniforms. While the
newspaper happily published the photograph of Fehriye Erdal blindfolded, as
is customary, they concealed the faces of the gendarmerie too.
The aim of blindfolding Fehriye Erdal is to show her as a terrorist. It is
a crime. It is inhumane. With this attitude the gendarmerie is preparing a
provocation. It is pathetic. They are playing games to make a young girl
look like a criminal. They are almost showing off. They trampled on every
principle of law and human rights.
The government and gendarmerie of Belgium are trying to curry favour with
this type of behaviour. They and the fascist regime in Turkey are seeking
to bribe each other. They are engaging in dirty deals. In just the same
way, since September 25, these deals were on the agenda and there is a
regular flow of information to the torturers in Turkey about the captives
of the Devrimci Halk Kurtulus Cephesi (Revolutionary People's Liberation
Front). The photos, fingerprints and documents were given to the Turkish
police and the way was paved for the operations and massacres of the
torturers. Following this, by giving false information public opinion was
tried to be manipulated. Finally, the articles that were published in
Gentenaar and De Standaard are the products of the gendarmerie's
provocation.
We have had enough of these games. The government and gendarmerie of
Belgium should give up such practices. Otherwise, like the heir to the
Nazis Germany, they will carry the shame.
