NEW TRANSFORMER STATION BELGRADE, July 4 (Tanjug) - Yugoslav Vice Premier
Nikola Sainovic broke ground for a new transformer station in the eastern
Serbian (Yugoslav) industrial town of Bor on Tuesday. The ceremony
completed the cycle of rebuilding electric power industry facilities
devastated in last year's NATO aggression on Yugoslavia. "The start of the
construction of this facility heralds full power supply security for the
Bor mining complex which suffered heavy damage, and the building of an
electric power system of the new generation," Sainovic stressed. He paid
tribute to the constructors of the Serbian power system and praised "the
war heroes in the power industry who, despite round-the-clock NATO air
strikes, made sure that Yugoslavia had a steady power supply."

YUGOSLAVIA - RUSSIA YUGOSLAV AMBASSADOR SPEAKS OF YUGOSLAV SITUATION ON
RUSSIAN TV MOSCOW, July 4 (Tanjug) - Russia's TV Centre channel on Monday
aired a programme on the situation being created in the United Nations and
the world in connection with Yugoslavia, and Yugoslav Ambassador Borislav
Milosevic appeared in the programme as guest. The anchorman said that
passions were raging around Yugoslavia, chiefly because the U.S.
Administration and NATO, after their fiasco in the Serbian (Yugoslav)
Kosovo-Metohija province, are trying to shirk responsibility for their
crimes and put the blame on the Yugoslav Government. This is why, although
the truth about Kosovo-Metohija is known to the whole world, the people in
the United States and other western countries have heard none of the
evidence of the criminal activity of the U.S. Administration and NATO
presented by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. For the same
reason, the anchorman said, Yugoslavia's representative was not allowed to
speak at a recent session of the U.N. Security Council, prompting Russia's
permanent U.N. representative Sergei Lavrov to walk out. Ambassador
Milosevic, in turn, said that pressure and attacks on the Yugoslav
Government are being applied also through the Hague-based war crimes court
for the former Yugoslavia, set up by the U.S. Administration as a tool for
concealing its crimes and pressuring the Yugoslav Government and Serbs in
Yugoslavia and Bosnia. He went on to quote a number of facts and figures
illustrative of what has truly been happening in Kosovo-Metohija and
Yugoslavia. He showed that ethnic Albanians began to move out only when the
bombs of their "western liberators" started falling last year. He went on
to show that, since the deployment of international troops, 360,000 Serbs
and other non-Albanians have been forced out of Kosovo-Metohija, while
200,000 Albanians, mostly criminals and terrorists, have since settled in
the province.

YUGOSLAV MINISTER OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS TO TRAVEL TO MOSCOW BELGRADE, July
4 (Tanjug) - A delegation of the Yugoslav Ministry of Telecommunications,
headed by Minister Ivan Markovic, will be visiting Moscow from July 5 to 7
on the invitation of Minister of Communication and Computerisation Leonid
Reiman. Minister Markovic will have talks with his host and other Russian
officials. Both sides expect the visit to help promote bilateral
cooperation, especially in the area of telecommunications and postal
services, the Yugoslav ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

YUGOSLAVIA - MYANMAR MYANMAR MINISTER TO VISIT YUGOSLAVIA ON WEDNESDAY
BELGRADE, July 4 (Tanjug) - Myanmar Foreign Minister U Win Aung will be
paying an official return visit to Yugoslavia from July 5 to July 9, at the
invitation of the Yugoslav Foreign Minister Zivadin Jovanovic. The two
Foreign Ministers will review results of bilateral cooperation to date and
prospects for its improvement and expansion. They will exchange views on
internal development, on the current situation in their respective regions,
as well as on other international issues of mutual interest and relevance,
a Government statement said on Tuesday.

SERBIAN PROVINCE OF KOSOVO-METOHIJA KOSOVO-METOHIJA ALBANIAN LEADER QUSE
SAYS PEOPLE WANT COEXISTENCE KOSOVSKA MITROVICA, July 3 (Tanjug) - Ethnic
Albanian leader in Kosovo-Metohija Sokol Quse said on Monday a fact-finding
mission in part of that Serbian (Yugoslav) province had shown Goranies,
ethnic Albanians, ethnic Turks and Serbs want coexistence. Quse told a news
conference in divided U.N.-ruled Kosovska Mitrovica that a delegation of
the Alliance for Peace which he heads had visited the areas of Prizren,
Dragas and Strpce and established that the people there are absolutely for
coexistence. The Alliance comprises the ethnic Albanian Democratic Reform
Party, National Party of Kosovo and Kosovo Democratic Initiative. Its
delegation toured the Gorany-populated Dragas municipality, the ethnic
Albanian villages of Korisa and Dusanovo in the Prizren district and the
villages of Jazince, Sevce, Brezovica and Strpce in the Serb-populated
Strpce municipality. "Talks with ethnic Albanian, ethnic Turkish, Serb and
Gorany representatives convinced us they want the same things - coexistence
in Kosovo-Metohija, return of all displaced people and of the Serbian
police and army as sole guarantors of safety", Quse said.
