Shaheen Burney condemned merciless execution of a woman
in Public in Iran:

KARACHI, Pakistan: The human and civil rights organization
“Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International” has strongly
condemned the mercilessly hanging and killing of a woman
in public, in Tehran, Iran.

Human rights activist and Vice Chairperson of the Trust,
Mrs Shaheen Burney, has said in an statement that a
young woman, Fariba Tajiani-Emamqoli, 30, crying for
justice on Monday, March 19 before being hanged at
dawn for alleged drug trafficking in a poor quarter
of Tehran, watched by thousands of people with tears
in their eyes.

Fariba, blindfolded and with her hands tied, crying
for justice from the Muslims Court judges but her hue
and cry was ignored and she was hanged from a crane
set up in the eastern Khak-e-Sefid district in Tehran.

Shaheen Burney said that Fariba was mercilessly
hanged/killed in a public crowd, less than four
weeks after her arrest, along with 4 others were
Ali Alipour, Ibrahim Qaemshari, Ali-Kazem Aslani
and Framan Qaremani-Aazara, all about the same
age as their Alleged companion.

Shaheen said that according to the eye witnesses
the bodies being hanged for 15 minutes before being
taken down.

“By mercilessly killing a young woman in public and
carrying out this international human rights crime
on the eve of the Iranian New Year, the fundamentalist
so-called mullahs (Muslims so-called priests) tried
to terrorize and intimidate the innocent people of
Iran who have expressed their rage and repugnance
at the present government during the "feast of fire"
celebrations few days before”. Shaheen Burney added.
