BOGOTA -- Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebels attacked
a small town in the southeastern department of Narino, possibly killing
two police officers, the commander of the armed forces, General Fernando
Tapias, said Sunday.

"We know that the FARC is attacking San Jose de Alban and apparently
there are two dead police officers," Tapias told reporters.
