A "lot" to you is negligible to Microsoft. The fact the people can still make "Windows-only" hardware shows that other operating systems still don't matter.
The only people who say "moving because of bugs" also have large IT staff and will realize a big cost savings, too.
Individuals--still on Windows. Small and Medium businesses--still on Windows. Application software developers--still on Windows.
The licensing costs also play a big factor as well.
Much bigger than bugs.
But bugs and security holes really do is serve as a catalyst to move.
An extra excuse or marketing bullet, maybe. Primary factor, not even close.
