Stewart said "what use is bragging about how long you've been on the 'Net if
you just demonstrate that you haven't learned anything.", so in response I
say, "I wasn't bragging, I'm aware there's lots of people that have been
using computers, and the "'Net" longer than I have, I was just pointing out
that I have indeed been using the "'Net" for seven years, and yet this is
the first time I've come across this silly argument. Perhaps trimming is in
order -- but gmail auto-hides quoted text. If you say your mail client
doesn't auto-hide quoted text -- maybe you should find one that does? It's
very convenient. Also, all the messages in this subject-thread are one after
another, so I can just go up and easily read anything I've missed. Perhaps
g-mail is the reason for 'lazy' top posters? If your mail client doesn't
make it easy for you to read top or bottom posting mails, so easy that in
fact, you've never cared if someone top or bottom posted, and you have to
whine and complain about it -- definitely get a new mail client.
