What was surprising to me was that I was sitting still when they went
off. I was thinking, great, I was fine before the bags deployed, now I'm
gonna die from a fscking safety feature!

They were gonna total my car, until I showed the adjuster the window
sticker and he did a little research. To my happiness, he found the
bluebook on the car was ~$10,000 more than a standard GT, which more
than covered the ~$10,000 in damage.


How to total a car:

Deploy the airbags. You don't need to actually damage anything - the
airbags will do it for you! :o
