Well here goes...
Output: 18.5v, 4.9A, 90w
Input:100-240v, 2.4A, 50-60Hz Center Positive
This is a common looking unit which has the rectangular box with a
detachable cord to go to the wall and a non-detachable cord that
connects to the laptop external power connector.
OK, now you could tell us the inner and outer diameter of the
connector that goes to the laptop. These connectors come in several
sizes. You might want to take the laptop to a RadioShack store where
they sell sets of assorted size power connectors, and try them on for
fit. Or you could specify the make and model of the laptop that this
is supposed to fit.
I don't remember from the beginning whether you have a non-working
power supply, in which case you can side-step the connector problem by
splicing the old connector onto the replacement supply.
And could possibly double the length of your cord while you're at it.
