Have you done a WIFI scan to see what's around you?? It maybe as simple as
going to a different channel. Is WIFI totally dead during the day, or only
at intermittent times?

What firmware are you using on the Linksys? If you try another one, I use
wrt on a Buffalo, I can turn up the power on the WIFI. In my case, I have it
turned down to a couple of milliwatts, just enough to cover the inside of my
house.
