>From a logical factor, the latest nano supports video, plus the audio. Its double the price, four times the storage. I would do this strictly for Video. Video Poscasts can be quite informative to anyone at any age. Plus there are music videos. Something to watch on the bus on the way to/from school or on long car rides. Plus if you have difficulty getting your child to read actual books there are always audio books.
Speaking from experience. We bought the shuffle for our oldest (now teenager) when he was 12. He was pretty "ehhh" about it. He lives and breaths music. So from a "cool" factor, don't get the shuffle. The features justify it. However you can find it for cheaper then 150 if you look locally. I However I would recommend buying it directly from apple.com for the specific reason of the free engraving. Having their name on it will come in handy if it get lost or stolen. On a side note, I like to hear about your experiences with bio diesel off list. On 12/2/07, Lan Barnes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > We want to get the 12-yr-old an iPod for xmas.
