How big is his music library? Will it fit easily into 1GB? If not, how about 4GB? Being able to fit *all* one's music on to the player is a huge plus. Being able to select what song to play by looking at a menu rather than next-track-ing thru the music is another huge plus. Unless he's an aspiring DJ. Selecting and arranging music might be part of the fun. -- Have a 1GB shuffle (no longer using) and a 40GB iPod.
