It's part of bind-utils, as is host and nslookup.

On a rhel 4 machine:

rpm -qf /usr/bin/dig
bind-utils-9.2.4-16.EL4

Subject: looking for dig

It seems our servers do not have the dig command on them (CentOS 5).
What RPM is it found in? (For the life of me I can't figure out why it's not
installed on the servers in the first place.)
