Any/all that are supported by the embeddded xine, it seems.
(or per website docs: vlc in Windows or realtime in mac, I believe)

Looking at the "details" for a few downloads shows mp4 audio, mov, mpeg
audio, mp4, but I suspect these terms are applied somewhat inconsistently.

For example on one download labeled "mpeg audio", using the reveal local
file pops up nautilus, which gives a type of "MPEG-4 Video", and, then
the detailed properties popup shows

mime type:
  video/mp4
codec:
  H.264 / AVC
  MPEG-4 AAC audio

Hmmm, it does get complicated, eh? Playing the revealed local file via
nautilus shows that vlc seems equal to the miro-embedded xine frontend,
and offers ability to play with settings, view media info, take snapshots.

If one is comfortable with the bewildering options of mplayer, playing
the local file from the commandline is probably better than running from
 nautilus.

The embedded-xine does seem to provide a very adequate basic
functionality without options (or associated confusion).

..jim
