Wrong. Physics is especially wrong. In Illinois, as of 10 years ago and from
teacher friends the same si still true, 3 years of science are required. The
vast majority of students end up with 1 year of chem, 1 year of bio, and 1 year
of physics. Calculus is still the 4th year math class there, and a good
portion of the school takes it- at least 20%.
