My understanding is that the KPLUG has it's own treasury. While the money is 
technically part of the SDCS the KPLUG has discretion to the use of the funds.

Do we think that the PC users group might object to spending treasury 
money on a Linux specific project? If they got their panties in a bunch 
over paying $6/year for dues and not getting enough for their money how 
will they feel about this?
