I get 100 to 200 spam messages per day total in two different Gmail
accounts. Once in a while I catch a legitimate message before
deleting the day's accumulation. Sometimes I notice the sender and
subject just as it is disappearing into the never-come-back bit
bucket.
The Gmail statement is: "messages that have been in Spam more than 30
days will be automatically deleted"
