The electronics at the Santee Swap meet is a vestige of its former self. I still go but usually don't get much. I've been going since it was at the stadium in Mission Valley.
When the Aero Drive-In swap meet in El Cajon closed down all the vendors from there went to Santee. They didn't sell electronics and it overwhelmed the Santee swap meet for a while. The electronics part of the Santee swap meet, which used to be the only stuff allowed in the first 6 rows, got scattered all over the place.
More recently Ebay has taken the wind out of it. People don't bother to pack the truck and get up at 5AM when they can get better prices and the buyer pays for shipping.
