I was instructed to lurk heavily before posting by the person who showed
me 'News.  In hindsight, I should have posted something right away,
gotten flamed, and then treasured the memories. But noooo, I had to go
and pay attention.

I was shown *something* on a UNIX machine in 1987, but I didn't like it
(or UNIX, for that matter, but I tell myself it might have been Xenix)
much at the time.
