I always push locally AND remotely.  I would ONLY let a bunch of local commits
accumulate if I was on travel or cut off from the Internet.  That obviously
doesn't happen often.  So the answer to you question is you just commit in both
places always.

Just google pushing and pulling.  The rest will follow w/o you having to try
hard.
