Sure you can. One can compare *motives* and *types* of restrictions. For example, the restrictions in the M$ Windows EULA aren't on the same footing as the GPL restrictions. People can judge which restrictions they think are right, which are wrong, which are unjust, which are unfair, etc. That's not hypocrisy.
