I appreciate the question. I am actually asking this for another fellow who is not terribly technically savvy. I have essentially those questions into him. Once I know more we can iterate. But I thought I would get going in parallel on the answer. I am starting to use Django, an application server written in Python, these days. So far I like it a lot. Here is a simple video blog skeleton for Django. http://blog.go4teams.com/?p=56 I am considering using Amazon Web Services for hosting what could be a rapidly growing service to a major corporation but I want to explore other alternatives as well.
