Linux is "good enough" for completely non-technical users to use on a
daily basis, and yet those of us who are TRYING to master it can't
even do it right?
If you're really worried about it, mount your ext3 filesystems with
data=journal in the options, and you'll be much better off. Worst
case, the last batch of changes won't be committed to the filesystem,
but your filesystem will always be consistent.
