All, I would like to remind everyone on this list that this is the -newbie list. It is expected that posters may not be fully aware of the norms the we we at Kernel-Panic expect things to be done.
I ask that everyone take an extra second or two before hitting send, and ensure that what they are sending is helpful and avoids any kind of insult. I also ask that anyone that is reading a posting remember that no one is insulting anybody else. We all need to keep in mind that people's learning and teaching styles differ. I don't have any good guidance to when to take advice or pointers off-list. The Kernel-Panic group has some of the most knowledgeable people about a broad cross-section of topics, and they are also some of the friendliest, and eager to help people.
