I can't get this working and I thought I did everything I could find on
Google.I have a linksys router with DHCP. I want my Fedora computer on my
network to have a static IP with the rest of my machines getting dyanmic IPs.
My DHCP addresses start at 192.168.1.100 so I tried setting my Fedora machine
at 192.168.1.50.Here is my /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
fileDEVICE=eth0BOOTPROTO=staticBROADCAST=192.168.1.255IPADDR=192.168.1.50NETMASK=255.255.255.0NETWORK=192.168.1.0ONBOOT=yesTYPE=EthernetGATEWAY=192.168.1.1
 When I bring up a browser I can't access an outside internet address. I can
ping my router and i can access the FTP server on my Fedora machine from
another computer on the network.Any suggestions?
