Is there a solution to deteted restore points in XP and Vista. It might be
possible to copy them to a seperate partition or other media and then copy them
back after booting...??

Hi Herb-

May I respectfully offer a suggestion:

Since one of the nicest things about mailing lists is that many people
can see how problems get solved, perhaps you would be good enough to
post a summary-explanation of what you finally figured out.

It's nice that you fixed your problem, but it would be even nicer if you
would share what you learned..

..that is, if you think it might be helpful to others. If not, a remark
to that effect (eg, "I just forgot to plug it in, duh!") would be fine,
too. :-)

Regards,
..jim
