George will demonstrate the Linux setup he did for his Mom. It has codecs and
other cool stuff, plus he administers it remotely and re-teaches her how to
use it via vnc forwarded through ssh.
Swap Meet
It's the new year and time to clean out some of that old stuff. Bring old
computer hardware to swap. If you can't convince someone they need it more
than you, then be prepared to take it back home with you. Don't bring anything
you aren't prepared to haul back if no one will take it off your hands.
