Pentium III CPU

Does anyone have an idea where I can get a Pentium III CPU?  The stores 
don't carry them anymore.
One of my computers had the CPU fan go bad and the Pentium III CPU got 
hot.  Now the motherboard won't boot.  I thought I would try a different 
CPU before trashing the motherboard which I hate to do because of all the 
OS and software configuring that will be lost.
