Thanks, I needed that.  But why couldn't I find this information on
the manufacturer's web site?   <http://support.creative.com/>

This leaves unanswered the question of how one input jack can be both
Line-in and Microphone, and whether it is stereo or mono.  If I want
to do any serious audio input on this computer I will get an external
analog to USB box.
