Carl,

Please forgive me

For some reason my msn email is not correctly formatting these messages

My /etc/resolv.conf was formatted as you put it but like I said

I am losing formatting in these messages

Cox gave me a CIDR block of 30 static IP addresses to use

I just sent a ping to 68.105.28.11 and these are the results

64 bytes from 68.105.28.11: icmp_seq=20 ttl=60 time=6.13 ms
64 bytes from 68.105.28.11: icmp_seq=28 ttl=60 time=7.42 ms
>From 72.214.18.66 icmp_seq=69 Destination Host Unreachable
>From 72.214.18.66 icmp_seq=70 Destination Host Unreachable
from 72.214.18.66 icmp_seq=71 Destination Host Unreachable
64 bytes from 68.105.28.11: icmp_seq=125 ttl=60 time=6.45 ms

it continued on for a while after this

To me it seems as if some packets are going through and others are not

although I admit I do not know how to correctly interpret these results

Thanks,
Michael
