SLFCEM stands for San Le's Free Computational Electromagnetics.

It is a package of scientific software and graphical user interfaces for use
in computational electromagnetics. It is written in ANSI C and distributed
under the terms of the GNU license. San Le will demonstrate and talk about
SLFCEM at the February General Meeting.

San Le writes engineering software for numerical simulations of solid
mechanics, fluid dynamics, and electromagnetics. He graduated from UCSD as a
mechanical engineer. His software is based primarily on the finite element
method or finite differencing.
