(Again, I apologize for the top-posting)

Looks like a good machine. The four CPU cores will definitely do us some good,
especially when hammering through a lot of wiki content.

Hopefully the newer Intel chassis aren't as shitty as the older ISP1100 chassis
were... Josh, any comment there?

Does it have any out-of-band management capabilities? That could come in handy
in the event of a problem.

Cheers,
Kelsey

We don't have to hurry. I'd rather wait and get what we want than rush
and get less. I agree that we should pursue getting the HCL version,
even if it means waiting.

So we're in agreement? This is basically what we want?

1- Intel Server System SR1530HCL (backorder if necessary) $800-900
2 - Xeon 5130, Dual Core 2.00GHz, 1333MHz FSB - $355 $710
4GB - 667MHz DDR2 ECC
                $700
1 - Slimline DVD-ROM for the 1U chassis
      $90
2 - 400GB Seagate Barracuda ES SATA-2 w/ NCQ, $145/ea $290

-------------------------------------
Total
                                    $2590-$2690

We'll order 2 - 2Gb memory sticks so we can upgrade later, when prices
fall, if we decide we need it.
