Mark Langford designed a conversion for Jim's plane he is fixing up. My side-mount hinges were shot so I thought I'd follow along. Indeed, it was easier than I originally thought. I documented what I saw through the process as a supplement to what Mark taught us all on the first go-round. Anyhow, here's my take on the work. Thank you is due to Mark for solving my problem!
