I suspect you are looking for AN fittings that mate aluminum tubing to AN 37 
degree flares..."aluminum tubing adapters".  I've been using mostly Earls 
fittings, but as you say, they start at -6 and go through -10 and don't 
include -4.  165006 at http://www.anplumbing.com/Adapters/Aluminum-14.html 
shows a picture of the -6 version of one.  I'm sure one of the other 
manufacturers makes a -4 version of it.   There's not generally a huge price 
difference between -4 and -6, and the flow is a lot higher, so you might 
consider going with -6 tubing and hoses if you get boxed into it.  That's 
what we use on the Corvair, and what I'm using on the 2180 in N89JF.

Before people spend a lot of time looking, exactly what do you need this 
fitting to do?
