I'm trying to remember, but I think the typical flight-induced stress failures almost always occur in the tail attach area, not the wings. It is difficult to stress the wings to yield without stalling them. Therefore, the stronger wings would demand stronger empennage and engine mount too. regards, Peter
On mine, the chords are also thicker giving even more increase.
