Yes I have. It can be a bit difficult to deal with due to the curve. Most of the RV guys at my airport do it, but still do have the problem of the bend. I think that they use a pin that is of a diameter smaller than called for with the hinge that they are using. Certainly, I used hinge pins all the way around and on the more straight areas, I really like them. If I do it again, I will try to do it more like the RV guys do.
