Dean,
Those are some very valid points. I do not have a header and right now I do
not have fuel shut off for each individual wing tank. I have been thinking
all along that I needed the option to shut off each tank to regulate flow
and I do have a plan in place to install a shut off valve for each tank. The
way I have it now, there is a possibility of air intruding the system from a
low level tank. But....the two tanks are identical and on the exact same
surface plane and have the exact low points for fuel pick up and are
connected by a common fuel line which the pumps feed off of...so,
theoretically both tanks should always have the same amount of fuel in them
since liquid between two tanks with a common line level themselves.
Thoughts???? Dean sent this to me direct but I would like the Net's input
on this also.
