Hi Ghris

It's nice to hear voice of other KR-1 builder. I have been lonely wulf for
years so my modification might be different than their are generally. I use
RAF-48 in rooth wing and GAW-2 in outboard wing. There is one feet long
area on the outboard wing where airfoil will change from RAF-48 to GAW-2 The
reason why I am doing it this way is that I started built orginal KR-1 with
short wings.Few years later I regonized that I don't have money to fly
private lisence but there was chance make it to ultralight gategory so I
desided to do wings according Ken Rand KR-1B plans. If I could start my
project again, I will do one piece wing with gaw-2 airfoil, naturally with
tapered shape. Orgonal attach fitting steel weight is around 10 lbs but one
piece wing can be attached to fuselage with four bolts.

How far you are with your KR? How you have attached your shouder seatbelts
and what kind of landing gear you are going to use?
