Recent activity has brought me into contact with the Rotax range of engines. The 4 stroke versions appear to be pretty neat - very compact and surprisingly light - 124 lbs for the 100hp.
I recall seeing a TV program "An airplane is born" all about the construction of a Europa with a Rotax engine - got to wondering why I have not seen or heard about a KR with a Rotax? Is there a reason that they are not popular with KR builders? Enjoy the weekend (F1 Grand Prix tomorrow) Steve J
