Better her than the pinhead who gave me my multi-engine checkride. This =
guy
owned the flight school and shut down the left engine on the Beech Baron =
we
were in trying to be a smart *** since the hydraulics were on that side =
and
the Baron had a nasty habit of wanting to go into a spin. Not usually a
problem but this dummy never read the maintenance report prior to take =
off
where it clearly stated that this bird had a bad problem and wouldn't
restart left engine. After getting her under control I reached down and
threw the maintenance book at him and declared an emergency for straight =
in
downwind landing. Obviously I made it and all's well that ends well. BTW =
the
FAA man witnessing the incident signed me off on the spot.
